Written in the summer of the 2020 lockdown, Planes reflects on the changes during that bizarre period. Time stood still, the city noise replaced by bird song; a calm in the chaos that enabled us to reflect on life as we knew it and life as we might want it on the other side. The song captures this juxtaposition with soaring melodies cutting through raw percussion and throbbing synths.
